John De Feis
Volunteer Curriculum Instructor (VCI): John DeFeis
John De Feis retired as COO after 41 years with Tetra Tech EC and predecessor companies, specializing in large design-build construction and environmental remediation projects. John has served as a Commissioner on a Board of Education, as a Toolbox volunteer and soccer coach. John currently leads the Men’s Ministry at Tapestry Community Church. I volunteer to “pay it forward” after my Lord and Savior and many others helped me succeed.
John took wood shop in school and believes it to be important in a child’s development and building confidence and character through accomplishing projects. John believes his teaching kids in the Toolbox program is a privilege and rewarding to the instructors as well as the apprentices.
